As a parent and volunteer coach, I can't say enough positive things about our experience with MUSA. In the younger age groups it's all about having fun and getting them used to handling the ball (without hands). My son has made wonderful friends through the program, and everything from picture days to field conditions is communicated promptly. As a coach, I love that they provide training and support by way of practice drills.

The organization obviously does not listen or pay attention to the information filled out on their website for uniform sizes

I love MUSA. It is a great place for kids to get introduced to soccer. As skill increases so does the game. They progress at a place that allows people new to the sport to learn as they go and not feel left behind. The sidelines are usually packed with parents and loved one cheering both teams on with very little of the over the top competitiveness.

This year as been the worse year yet!!! Extremely unorganized and definitely not worth your time. Missed a few games due to the fact that MUSA cannot seem to communicate with teams outside of Richmond. Our team didn't know that we even had a game so we didn't show up. So that counts as a forfeit. This happened on two of my children's teams this year. Guaranteed to play a minimum of 8 games per season. We only played 7. MUSA needs to dissolve and LYSA needs to take over. Dont even get me started on the travel teams! Nothing but parent politics. After three years with multiple children in MUSA, we are officially done!
