Powered by GoogleMacGuffin Theater and Film Co. has been my daughter’s home away from home for the past four years. Under the guidance of talented and nurturing teachers, as well as the mentorship of older students, she has blossomed in ways I never imagined. The supportive environment at MacGuffin has not only helped her build confidence but has also ignited a genuine passion for the theater. I have complete faith that she is in excellent hands here. The end-of-semester productions are nothing short of spectacular, showcasing the students’ newly honed skills and the dedication they put into their craft. What truly sets MacGuffin apart is the vibrant community and the special bonds that form among students, creating a sense of belonging that goes beyond the stage. Additionally, MacGuffin offers exciting summer camps for ages 7-10 (and 11-18) that are packed with fun and creativity. The excitement of auditioning on a Monday and performing just days later is an incredible experience that teaches valuable lessons in teamwork and performance. I wholeheartedly recommend MacGuffin to any young person serious about pursuing acting and theater. It’s a place where dreams are nurtured and lifelong memories are made.
My daughter has been attending classes at MacGuffin for the past three years, and our experience has been nothing short of amazing. The environment is incredibly inclusive and encouraging, fostering a space where she has not only developed her skills but also built wonderful friendships. The instructors truly care about the students, and I’ve seen my daughter grow in confidence with each class. I highly recommend MacGuffin for anyone looking for a supportive, enriching, and positive community for their child.
MacGuffin Theater has been an absolutely wonderful experience for my son! It’s a uniquely welcoming environment for kids who are excited about theater, offering a sense of community from the moment they walk in. The staff are truly educators—exceptional at teaching theater techniques while also building confidence in their students. My son has learned so much here, both on stage and off. The camp programming is especially impressive. The fact that kids can audition, learn, rehearse, and perform a full show in just one week is nothing short of magical. MacGuffin is a special place that nurtures creativity, fosters friendships, and brings out the best in every child who steps on their stage. I can't recommend it enough!
MacGuffin is fantastic! The productions, classes, and summer camps on offer are diverse and allow kids to develop a variety of techniques in acting, singing, dancing, improve comedy, and more (all while having fun and making friends). My son has been a part of MacGuffin for 7 years, and it has been amazing to watch him and so many other kids embrace their love of performing in a supportive environment.
My daughter has been involved at MacGuffin for 7 years now. She has enjoyed participating in productions, camps, and classes. John Rea provides a safe and supportive environment for all MacGuffin students. I would highly recommend to anyone with a child interested in theater or comedy.
