Nonprofit youth organization in East Camden (LUCY stands for Lifting Up Camden's Youth) that runs a free summer day camp for Camden County young people ages 7 through 19. The seven- to eight-week summer program is split between 'littles' and teens, with interest-based clubs covering scouting, book club, softball and other sports, dance and arts programming and gardening, plus day trips and, for teens, overnight trips; teens have morning drop-in time, afternoon clubs and evening themed programming. Programs are multilingual and culturally inclusive, and run from LUCY's 10,000-square-foot youth center.
