I have a question street from the facility is clean is nice. They have a playground a football field a basketball court and they have things for the kids in the inside and then the summertime they have a lot going on for the kids.

I participated in Mayor Parker's snow shoveling, same day pay program. The L9nnie Young Recreation Center was kind enough to offer us the use of it's space as a home base for our work. The staff were kind and welcoming and we're del8ghtful as they organized and srved our lunches. In the afternoon, at the end of our shift, several children arrived after their school day, eager to begin the after school programs that the center offered. They seemed genuinely excited about the programs, and clear felt safe, welcome and at home in the center and with the staff. Children are the toughest critics so I imagine their positive attitudes about being there suggests that the staff are great at what they do and really care about the kids. The center was clean, well-organized and one felt a great sense of warmth from those who ran it. We met at in a room that housed a basketball court. As a fun side note, there were some real stand-out basketball players among the adults in the snow shovell8ng crew.I withheld one star because while clean and well-maintained, the center could use some updates, which is no one's fault- just a matter of money. Prayers.

It's a recreation center it has a foot ball team. It has playground, swing swimming pool and other things to enjoy while you relax.
