I went to band camp there, 1972 through 1975. It was fun but a lot of work. We were in bed by 9:00 PM every night and up by 6:00 AM, ready for breakfast and then to march to the practice football fields. We would practice field routines for a couple of hours in the morning and in the evening. During the hottest hours of the day we would be in the shade practicing music. It was well structured with little time to get into trouble like unsupervised teens get into.

Camp crescendo has been around since before I was born ,and I think that the town would be not complete without it..I do believe if they would open up that pool to the public ,maybe certain days of they week during the summer, they would make a little bit more money for that camp..

I went to band camp there from the summer of 1979 to summer of 1982. We used to stop at a place called Surf and Turf somewhere around Louisville before driving on to Camp Crescendo. Such great memories! I’m glad it’s still in existence.

The camp is starting to show its age, but the support staff is exceptional. They really go out of their way to ensure that the kids are taken care of. Oh to be young again... The Lions club is awesome for their continued support.

I can't say enough about this camp!! Love, love, love! My kids have been going since there were little. It has been a great expirience for them.
