Shawnee Community Center runs a free summer open program operated by Louisville Parks and Recreation, offering daily drop-in activities such as sports, arts and crafts, and games plus weekly field trips. The program runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for youth ages 6-17, and registration is required to participate. It is one of several city community centers providing free summer programming across Louisville.
