Life Time's Vestavia Hills athletic club runs a summer day camp for kids ages 4 to 13, with weekly themes spanning STEM, arts, and sports, plus daily electives, gym games, crafts, swim time and lessons, and Friday on- and off-site field trips. The core camp day runs 9am–4pm with up to two hours of before/after care and curbside drop-off. Enrollment is for Life Time junior members only.

★★★★Andrewtamm44Crowded, and was not thrilled overall with the amenities or advertised extra services. The massages were mediocre at best! The massage machines upstairs were always broken! The pool is nearly always crowded with screaming kids. I was disappointed with the hair salon service I received. But the workout floor is clean and the temperature is good, so if you just want a regular workout, it's a nice place.
★★★★★A EI was traveling and decided to check this gym out and take a class on a Saturday morning. First impression- gym and facilities are super clean and layout is well thought out. The class- it was everything I expected, wanted, and then more. I took the 360 MB Endurance MEDIUM heat with Brooke and It was perfect! She was a fantastic instructor who explained all movements perfectly and the class was challenging. Her playlist and music selection was perfect and especially motivational to get through tough series and sequences. I was sweating, dancing, and shaking through the difficulty. I left with a smile on my face and gratitude for such a great instructor and amazingly offered format of a class (my lifetime home base doesn’t offer this class).

She also told me about Lifetimes swim program and it made very curious about participating in it in the summer.
