Would Not Recommend We had a troubling experience with this camp. On the first day, after dropping our children off, we were shocked to see our youngest autistic son outside in the parking lot alone as we were driving away. No staff seemed to be aware he had wandered off. We quickly parked and addressed the issue with them. The following day, we found out our son had spent the entire day watching TV at the front of the facility which is not what we signed up for, and completely against what we allow at home. When we arrived to drop him off the next day, he was visibly distressed and yelling “noooo”. RED FLAG. Also, when we asked about the Monday field trips it was unplanned and unknown. It wasn’t giving what it was promoting. After these incidents, we felt it was unsafe and inappropriate to continue. We communicated our concerns to Sheyla, who initially reached out to ask why we were withdrawing. We explained everything and kindly requested a prorated refund due to the serious mishandling. Unfortunately, we received no response and were charged anyway. Multiple follow-up calls went unanswered. Our experience leads us to say this camp is a definite no. Reply: I leave a lot of 5 star reviews. Clearly looking at my collective reviews majority is wonderful ratings to businesses. I only tell my honest experience. More importantly we disclosed that our child was autistic and the facility. We were never once told your facility was unable to accommodate. And no my children did not attend the full week. They attended only 3 of the 5 days. Please review the sign up sheets for that week.

My son (almost 6 and in Kindergarten) had an absolute blast at Fall Break Camp! Every day when I picked him up, his cheeks were red from all the running, moving, and games—which is exactly what I hoped for. It was so heartwarming to see the kids form friendships throughout the week; by mid-week they were greeting each other with excitement and saying goodbye at pick-up like old friends. The staff and coaches were fantastic—engaged, encouraging, and clearly great with the kids. We will definitely be back!

Highly Recommend. I have two children that are 12 and 14 and one plays softball and one football. They are taking strength and conditioning. We use the cages and turf area and work out there often. Our friend is a D1 softball player and said the facility is nicer than the one she trains at - at her D1 school. Staff is professional and always smiling and doing their best! ••• 5 Stars •••

I'm not one to leave negative reviews, but we had such a poor experience at Legacy this week for "summer camp" that I felt compelled to share. It's extremely unorganized - no information email was sent ahead of time giving parents info on what to expect, what to send with your child, etc. When we arrived on day one, there was a line of people "registering," which was basically someone manually entering the info that we'd already submitted online when registering - when I inquired about this I was told that all of that info goes to another location, not the one we actually registered for. My son (who’s age 8) reports that he heard one of the adults/counselors say the F-word when he dropped his coffee in the trash can and it splashed up. My son also told me that one of the counselors told him that he’s “the biggest tattle-tale,” and they were also told “if you’re hit by accident with a ball and start crying, will will make you go sit in the room.” Let’s remember, the kids attending camp ranged from age 6 to 10!!! Not really an acceptable way to speak to young children. They also had 17 boys and 1 girl attending this week – they had 2 young female counselors with them most of the week, who seemed to have no gym/classroom management skills because they seemed to be overwhelmed and not able to control them. The theme for the week was supposed to be “Nerf,” but they didn’t actually get any Nerf supplies until Thursday, and one of the counselors had to go out and get them herself because the person in charge never showed up with them. The entire place is a sports facility – THEY DO NOT HAVE A WORKING WATER BOTTLE REFILL STATION! My son came home the first day and told me he ran out of water because the refill station doesn’t work. It would have been nice if they had told the parents this ahead of time, so we could make sure to send extra water. Lastly, and honestly, not the most important, but worth noting, it's advertised as $150 a week, but there's a $50 fee that you have to pay to register in addition to the weekly rate. Not a big deal, but just advertise $200 a week or make it VERY clear that the $50 registration fee doesn't go toward the weekly rate. It felt very bait and switch because it was not clearly disclosed that the $50 does not get applied to the weekly rate (most camps charge you X amount to sign up/hold your spot, but credit that toward the weekly rate).
