Learning Tree Farm is a nonprofit working farm in Dayton, Ohio offering hands-on, nature-based education. Its summer day camps for young children include one-day camps for K-2 (themes like Farmer for a Day, Woodland Wanderers, and Creative Critters) and three-day camps for grades 1-5 (Farm Sampler, Junior Naturalist, Camp Make and Do), run across July. Powered by GoogleWe stayed here for a night during a camp trip. We really enjoyed to explore the farm and meet the animals.
Stayed here as RV guests via RV hosts. What a lovely surprise and experience. Besides our human hosts we met all our animal friends. Relaxing and well kept property and learning environment. A 6 star experience.
We love the farm where you can experience one on one contact with a variety of farm animals. The animals are all gentle and loved to be loved. A wonderful experience every time!
A true hidden Dayton Gem. The farm is open to everyone and you just go in and are able to pet all the animals. We saw duck, goats, sheep including four sweet babies, donkeys, horses, little pigs, cats, chickens, dogs and cows. I wasn’t sure what to expect and was surprised when you were able to wonder around on your own. Great deal at $5 per person. And wasn’t crowded at all when we were there. Came across what I believe were the owners and they we lovely as well. Great couple hours here!
Went on a field trip with my son’s aba clinic , we had so much fun and learn so many things about the animals on the farm. Best part was the tire swing in the woods that all the kids loved! We had an awesome tour guide that was friendly and patient with the kiddos. Hope to come back in the near future!
