Le Meraviglie Art
Private
Le Meraviglie Art, founded by Italian artist-educator Piera Bonerba, is a Brooklyn Heights arts studio running an arts-immersion summer camp for children ages 5-11 across two nearby locations. Each week introduces different artists and forms across drawing, painting, collage, music, and dance, with park field trips and Friday cooking workshops where campers make their own lunch, kept to a 1:4-5 teacher ratio.

Powered by GoogleAs a Grammy I was welcomed into a wonderful for toddlers to explore and Piera had a calm presence.
I am incredibly impressed with the programming at Le Meraviglie. The classes are thoughtfully designed and very well staffed. We've had two birthday parties, attended cooking classes for adults, taken part in school off-day programs, and enjoyed summer camps at Le Meraviglie. Each experience has been outstanding. Piera's calm and engaging teaching style makes this a really special place. My daughter LOVES attending their classes! Highly recommended!
I cannot say enough positive things about the quality of programming at Le Meraviglie. Piera, the owner and primary teacher, is an absolute gem. She has a gift of being able to connect with pretty much every child that walks through her door, including all three of my children. When the program is done -- whether it's a 90-minute lesson, a birthday party, or a 7-hour camp -- my kids are happy and confident. They are excited to see me because they want to share what they've made and stories about the day; at the same time, they don't want to leave. The quality of the programming at Le Meraviglie also cannot go unmentioned. Each class and activity is thoughtfully planned and incredibly well staffed. They do not cut corners and it shows. Whether your child is a young artist or someone who has limited experience with arts and crafts, Le Meraviglie is set up so that they have everything they need to find an outlet and thrive.

We love this place! Ms Piera the art teacher is fantastic... so inspired and kind, and a fantastic art and cooking teacher. We've waited for so long to have a place like this in the area, where creative projects can happen in any medium and everyone is supportive of one another. Our child loved art camp, and really enjoyed cooking Italian meals from scratch. Its a rare community of artists and educators, and if we could all spend each day there we'd be in heaven. We look forward to seeing this program grow and to sending our child to many more classes. Thank you La Meraviglie!
