Great sailing school and club for all levels. My husband and I took an intro course last year and have been hooked since. All the members we've met have been very warm and welcoming. And the membership rate is very reasonably priced with well maintained clean boats almost always available for use. Would recommend to anyone in GA who wants to go sailing.

I just comeleted the ASA 101 basic sailing course here in Dec 2021. Everything about this experience exceeded my expectations. The marina and boats are well maintained & first class but, for me, the biggest asset are the staff and club members. The atmosphere is filled with encouragement and laughter. Every one was made to feel welcome. There are many friendly & experienced sailors around that are happy to help at every turn. The 101 course was not cheap, but I believe I got value for my expense. I plan to take more courses at LSA. I would recommend the Lanier Sailing Academy and the Passport Sailing club to any friend of mine.

My son and I have been sailing for years but never got certified so we decided to take the plunge. We loved every minute. Our instructor, Keith, was a great fit for us and we had a blast. I would highly recommend this school to anyone in the area. We learned so much and are looking to do the next certification when time allows. Thanks again.

Fiance and I took the BKB-101 class with Dave as our instructor over the course of 3 days back to back. We had a great time and would definitely recommend the ASA 101 course here. It was our first time on a sailboat and we loved it. Dave eased us into sailing and had great tips from his experiences!

This is a great place to learn to sail or just enjoy a day sailing. It is much cheaper than buying a boat. A variety of boats can be sailed, so you are not committed to a single boat. There is no additional cost for storing your own boat at a slip or on land. And perhaps the best benefit, all my time with the boats at LSA is spent SAILING...not maintaining. The LSA crew handles all the boat maintenance...expertly at that! I took the Basic Keel Boat course from LSA in June of this year. Then immediately joined in July. I already have over 30 sailing days logged (0 days of maintenance). On top of that the clinics and club events give me an unbelievable opportunity to learn from highly experienced club members and academy instructors. I'm learning so much! What a great value! I'm scheduled to take their Coastal Cruising and Bare-boat courses in the spring. By that time, I'm confident I'll be ready to charter a boat in the Caribbean or Bahamas. I'm stoked! I should have joined a long time ago...
