Powered by GoogleMy 6-year-old daughter has been attending Laketown Gymnastics for just over a year and LOVES it! She is in a recreational class and looks forward to it every week. The classes are affordable and she has learned so much since she started. My daughter has Level 1 Autism and her coaches are so patient and work with her so well. She has made friends here and the staff is so nice. She went from not knowing anything about gymnastics to learning how to do a handstand, somersault, backwards somersault, and now working on her cartwheels and the balance beam. They even offer birthday parties. We are very happy with Laketown Gymnastics and I’d highly recommend them!
So for me i love everything about laketown. i love the teachers and the kids all so friendly they aren't mean. The layout is different now then last year personally i liked the last years one. Its an amazing place i went to one other place and i hated it.
For the 4yo classes the teachers are teens which is great, but the student to teacher ratio for a group of 4yo kids needs to be more teachers or less kids. Not enough teachers to show each student what to be doing and help them to do it.
What a joke. I took my daughter for a trial class there as we were looking for a gym closer to our house. I got snapped at by who I assumed was the owner, as I looked and walked around the gym politely to see the whole of the facility. Mind you, there were no kids or classes going on at that moment and I took my shoes off etc. Not one “hello” received. They must not be looking for new business because no one came to talk to me, introduced theirselves to my daughter and I or the showed me around. The coaches during my daughter’s class were talking amongst themselves and showed no enthusiasm. (There was a younger blonde coach was a bit more involved). After we completed the class, no coach or the owner asked how we found the class etc. This place should go out of business. I’ll happily continue our gymnastics classes at Mini Hops even though it will be a bit of a drive.
I absolutely love Laketown! My 5 year old has been doing Gymnastics there for almost 5 years and Parkour for a little over 1. All of her coaches have been amazing, they are so patient and kind with the kids. Heather Kes is amazing with the little ones. They also allow payment plans so I don't have to worry about missing a session due to my budget. I highly recommend Laketown for gymnastics, parkour, or ninja for your kid!!
