Outdoor summer day camp at the Lakeland Hills Family YMCA, 100 Fanny Road in Mountain Lakes, with more than 35 years of operation, serving campers in grades 1 through 11. School-age programming covers swimming with lessons, arts and crafts, sports and science; specialty programs for grades 4-7 add dance, STEM, Esports, travel basketball, sailing and stop-motion animation. The camp follows American Camp Association and state health guidance. Campers must pass the Mountain Lakes swim test to participate in the program.

★★★★KristenOn and off member for years. Glad to see they have redone the gym as it is a dated facility that is still in need of improvements. I was paying extra for the private locker room, however the lights were always flickering in the steam room and after approaching the staff about it, nothing was done, at least not during my time as a member there. Which is a shame when it's a service you're paying extra for. Now I am revisiting membership due to needing daycare services (small discount for members). I will say that the new Director Nancy left me feeling very reassured after touring the early childhood learning center and I feel at peace leaving my baby there. I'm sure I will update my review if I rejoin as a member once we are in the childcare program.

When I left my phone in a Lyft, I was in a very compromised situation being in the state alone without a phone. I want to thank the staff here for going above and beyond to make sure I was safe and helping me get in touch with their support services. Especially Joanne and Lucy. It showed me that the folks of your gym and your state have great character. I enjoyed the pool and weights area in the basement during my time here as well. I never got to check out the nature trail but it’s in a beautiful wooded area. Definitely a great YMCA for the locals and out-of-towers alike.
