Our troop really enjoyed this Scout camp. It’s an out-of-council camp for us. The council has invested a lot in STEM facilities. The staff are incredible. Meals are all cooked within the troop campsites. We have one gluten allergy and two vegetarians, and the options provided for them were excellent. The scuba diving class was a favorite. Everyone in the troop agrees they would like to come back to this camp again. If you do bring your troop here, you can get the menu ahead of time and you have the option of bringing additional ingredients to make whatever you want with the food provided by the camp. Some troops get pretty creative! There is also a brick wood fire pizza oven troops can sign up to use. I highly recommend the adult Blacksmithing class. Bring fly tape and solar lights for the campsite pavilions.

Brown Sea and Trades Programs were exceptional! OA call out was kind of flat. Food quality and quantity was exceptional. Severe weather contingencies need to be addressed. Program directors were top-notch! Our camp host was not friendly, kind, or informative. The camp director was available and more than willing and able to assist. Medical services were of the highest standard! The water sports were out of this world! I would highly recommend this camp highly for 1st year and older Scouts.

This is a BSA Scout Reservation where Scouts and Cub Scouts can camp during the summer and earn merit badges. They can also make reservations at other times of the year.

Our troop was large with 65 boys and 13 adults we had and amazing time despite the heat that first week of camp. Our boys earned many merit badges and the programs were great. Several boys loved the zip line and wall climbing. Our troop was able to give one of our scouts his Eagle award, badge and neckerchief during the campfire and made it so special for him. The food was great and 1st year scouts had fun learning how to cook
