Camp Piercing Arrow is part of H Roe Bartle Scout reservation and has some fantastic facilities for a great summer camping experience. This is a scout camp so don't expect a resort experience. Piercing Arrow is a ways from the lake front activities, but has lots of space, an outdoor shooting range for rifles, BB guns and Archery, the top shot paint ball course, and several lodges for handi craft, eco and others, pool and dining hall. Expect a great experience with summer camp.
The tents and tent platforms at PA are not great and should be updated like the ones at Lonestar and Sawmill.
My son spent 10 days here, but still had fun! I enjoyed visiting and taking a walk through the woods to get to the trading post to get slushies!
Bartle is a great camp. Plenty of room for you to explore and maybe get a little lost in the woods.
