Camp Lone Star is one of three camps at the Boy Scouts of America's H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation, a 4,200-acre wooded property outside Osceola. It hosts week-long overnight Scout summer camp for troops, including the reservation's Tribe of Mic-O-Say honor program, with traditional outdoor and merit-badge activities. Enrollment is through Scout troops rather than open registration.

Powered by GoogleWonderful Boy Scout camp in a beautiful area and our Troop has been attending for 28 years regardless of the fact it is out of council. I have attended the full sessions for the past 2 years with my son and have enjoyed every minute, regardless of the weather, storms, storm alerts and even getting woken up at 3:30 AM due to weather warnings. Update 2022 -- this is the 6th year my son and I have been to Camp Lone Star. Other than the heat this year, it has been great so far. A bit of rain today cooled it off for a while. Lol. Staff is great as always and always wonderful to come home to the hills of Osceola!!
Took my dad's sam's RV club on hay ride through the scout camp
My son has been camping here for 4yrs.. he loves it... this year he became a mic-o-say brave
Beautiful camp. Love The Point.
Lone Star is close to many of the group location sites and the camp layouts provide lots of shade for the most part.
