Lafayette Urban Ministry's Ray Ewry Youth Center in Lafayette hosts summer youth programs for low-income families. Its Fifth Quarter Summer Learning Program runs about ten weeks with an academic focus, and the ministry also operates a separate four-day overnight LUM Camp for children ages 8-10, plus a school-year after-school program for grades K-8. ★★★★AaronOnly given it four stars because I was homeless for two years and needed a place to stay and they would not accept me because I had a violent felony on my record would not accept me to be housed there overnight so I had to go to lthc Lafayette transitional housing Community which did house me for six months until I found until they found me an apartment to live in which was a blessing to behold it was a struggle for sure for 2 years but I finally made it out of the hole and them doing good today thank you LUM for turning me away that way I had the opportunity to find better housing and better opportunity to lthc I'm doing good today on HUD because of these programs in Indiana Lafayette has one of the best housing programs in Indiana I think for the homeless God bless our homeless veterans goes well and all those in the struggle prairie dark night there's a brighter day ahead 2pac Shakur
