Kool Kidz Adventure Academy

We toured a lot of daycare centers in the area before deciding on Kool Kidz. The largest determining factors for us were our staff interactions (very personable while still professional), relatively low staff turnover (some have been there since the beginning), a very clean safety record, and the quality of the facility (clean, well-lit, each classroom separated by floor-to-ceiling walls and doors). Our baby enrolled at 6 months old and has been there for almost a year now. She loves it and is often more sad when we come to pick her up than when we drop her off! Her teachers and the staff know her by name, and she lights up when she sees them. As others have said, everything is recorded in the Procare app. I will clarify that it's not always recorded *immediately*--they often record things on a whiteboard then upload to the app periodically--but a few times a day you can see what your child has been up to. It's a nice perk and makes me feel more involved as a parent. Communicating with the center is easy. I handle everything through the Procare app, and responses have been very prompt. Communications are also easily sent from the center through the app, from which you can set up email notifications. Of course, speaking with the teacher or staff is always an option, and they hold at least one annual parent-teacher conference. Something I'd like to add now that our child has been at Kool Kidz longer is that the center runs a lot of events where parents can come have fun with their kids. A lot of parents have showed up at the ones we've attended, which is a good thing! But it can feel a little crowded with all those adults packed in there. One con I've seen is that there isn't a passcode lock on the front door, so a particularly determined child might be able to get out if they tried. However, the front door is also right where the office is, so it's always monitored. Overall, the pros significantly outweigh the cons. It's been a great organization to work with, and they have a stellar staff.

My son has grown and learned so much since moving to this school. His speech gets better and better every day, and they did wonders with his potty training. He also had some behavioral challenges after my brother passed away, and the staff went above and beyond to support both him and me during that time. It might sound cliché, but it truly feels like a family here. The owner, Ms. Cindi, is the sweetest, and we absolutely love her. Highly recommend this school!

My daughter started coming here as a small infant. She had a diary allergy and they made sure to take care of her! Every single staff member there was so caring and loving towards my daughter. She’s really loved going to daycare and making friends The front office people are always making sure that your child and you are happy and taken care of. Absolutely the best experience I’ve had at a daycare for my child. The communication with everyone is amazing.

This daycare is the most amazing place for child care. As a mother I always struggled with putting my children in daycare worried that they might end up at the wrong place. As I entered this daycare for a walk through and to get to know the staff, I was instantly stress free. This center and all of its staff have been nothing but amazing. My son has some personal behavioral issues and they have done everything they possibly can to help him strive and be successful. Not only do I love this center but so do my kids. I will always recommend this center as it has been a tremendous help. We love Kool Kidz Adventure Academy!
