Powered by GoogleWe’ve had such a great experience at CCNS! It’s been the perfect first school for our child and a special place for us as parents. The teacher is warm, creative, and really cares about each kid—she makes school feel like a joyous second home. Being part of a co-op has been amazing. We've loved getting to be involved in the day-to-day and getting to know the other families. We have felt supported by this community. Our child has thrived here, and we feel so lucky to have started our school journey in such a caring and connected environment. Can't wait for summer camps and next school year!!
We've had a really great experience with both of our children that have attended CCNS. The teachers are wonderful and in my experience the community has been very warm and welcoming. Both girls love it there and have had good experiences with both the on-site classes and outdoor classes.
CCNS has not only been a wonderful preschool for my child, but a true community for me as a parent. In exchange for less expensive tuition, parents donate time inside the classroom and at school events. This gave me the opportunity to know my child’s new classmates/friends and teacher, I also made new adult friends. The play based model at the school is a very easy and natural transition into educational learning. Anyone looking for a preschool where the tuition is affordable and an opportunity to meet new families, this is the place for your child!
We have been at CCNS for over 6 years now through multiple children. Our daughters have had a great experience there. Their play-based learning philosophy is fun for children and helps develop a sense of curiosity and wonder, become independent, and create meaningful relationships. I’ve loved the co-op model because it has allowed me to have a hands-on impact on my children’s education, but also enabled me to connect with other parents and create a community. The other families are lifelong friends for both myself and my daughters. The teachers at CCNS are wonderful. They are experienced and caring. We’ve also loved their outdoor program; it has helped my kids become wonderful little hikers and observers of nature! CCNS is everything a preschool should be, a warm, child-focused environment that is based around developmentally appropriate learning and fun!
CCNS has been a wonderful experience for my family. Being a part of a co-op is incredibly rewarding. Not only do we get to be a part of our children's learning and playing, but we also get to know other kids in the class along with their parents. One of the best benefits of co-oping is the opportunity to work with the teachers and learn from them. Both the teachers at CCNS are incredible; their commitment to the kids is amazing. They have both been there for over 20 years and I appreciate how much enthusiasm and love they bring to the kids each year. They are always available to chat about what's been going on with your child. If you're working on something, they are there for you to talk it through, to follow through at school, etc. I've seen the effort and care that they show each child. My kids have both had Miss Stephanie as a teacher and it's been really rewarding for me to learn from her. She's made a big impact on both my husband and me as parents. Miss Terry is the other teacher at CCNS. I've gotten to know her from playground time and learned a great deal from her as well. I feel lucky to have gotten to know and learn from such fabulous teachers, they really make the school special. CCNS is a great community to belong to. We've made several life long friends and are lucky to have provided our kids with such a wonderful beginning to school.
