Busy place, but still found parking. Found our event easy enough, and the bathrooms were stocked and clean despite it being busy

My niece reserved a room on Saturday, November 15, 2025 for a repass. The room was very nice I would give it 5 stars. However, I have a major complaint that I was going to ignore but changed my mind. While I was at the entrance door directing guest to the 3rd floor meeting room I overheard the receptionist say out loud twice, (here comes the colored pencil people). I interpreted her as saying here comes the black people in a subtile way because she never said it when Caucasian people entered the building. I didn't address this with the manager because I got sidetracked directing guest and comforting my sister who lost her husband of 57 years. My family grew up in Kirkwood but I see people's mindset has changed there. I see that people of color are no longer welcome.

Went here for the Kirkwood Community Theater and was impressed. Nice theater. Don't sit in the first 2 rows as the stage is very high and hard to see over. The ushers didn't really know where our seats were so we had to crawl over about 15 people when if they had us go in the other way there were only 2 people we would have inconvenienced. Sound needs some work. But hey, it is Community theater and the show was enjoyable

Best community pool. Clean. Not too crowded. Good food ar concessions and decent prices. Baby pool, zero entry pool, lap pool, diving boards, lazy river, "big kid" slides. Something for everyone. Plenty of chairs. Large Umbrellas I'd you want to get out of the sun. Fam favorite for us and we live 30 minutes away.
