Kids Vet Club / Junior Vet Academy is a veterinary-science summer camp for children ages 9 to 15 based at the 1870 Farm in Chapel Hill. Programs range from two-hour hands-on workshops on animal care, vaccinations, parasitology and radiology to an immersive five-day (day or overnight) Junior Vet Academy led by a veterinarian, with excursions to NC State Veterinary Science, the Duke Lemur Center and an animal shelter. Overnight lodging is arranged through UNC-Chapel Hill.
