The camp itself is all right, but the administration has not provided a tax receipt for FSA reimbursement purposes, despite multiple phone calls and emails. This is a routine and simple piece of paperwork that has never been an issue at any of the other 10+ camps my children have attended over the years. I am leaving this review because, honestly, at this point I don't know how else I can get through to the camp administration and obtain the receipt I need. It is something that would take them only a few minutes, yet would allow our family to realize several hundred dollars of tax savings. Needless to say, I am unimpressed by the customer service at this camp.

Just a small sampling of the many things you can do here. I have so much fun. This is my happy place as an adult. Imagine how much fun the kids have with their many programs! Summer camp time!

My son had the best time at Smile Camp Chemistry Week! He come home every day talking about how the day was packed with cool experiments and making new friends. I’ve got to give a huge shoutout to Counselor Sarah. She was amazing—so patient, super knowledgeable, and you can just tell she loves science. Her energy made the whole week extra fun, and she really helped the kids connect with the material in a way that made it stick. Big thanks to everyone at Smile Camp for an awesome experience—we’re already looking forward to next time!

We LOVE SMILE Camp! We have been going here for camps and tutoring. It's one of my boys favorite camps and they get so excited to come. It's so neat to see the things they are learning, but to them, it just seems like great fun. When we were looking for a tutor for one of our kids, we originally tried a tutoring center in the area and it didn't feel like quite the right fit. We switched over to here last school year and my son actually likes tutoring now! He loves working with Ms. Karen 1 on 1 so much better than the group tutoring he was getting. We love the personalization he gets (Ms. Karen knows just how to reinforce and supplement what he is getting at school). His grades have improved significantly and he has a confidence at school now that he has struggled to have for years. Cannot recommend enough for camp, tutoring, and even birthday parties - we have done that too!

The best camp in the Raleigh area, and honestly the entire State. This camp shows how cool Science, and Engineering is, and is a great inspiration for both kids and adults. The caring staff members truly make a difference, emphasizing hands-on activities. I have been to other science camps, and you can really tell that Smile camp puts much more into actually teaching, and creating interest, compared to other camps, and lets campers take home so much of what they work on/create in camp. Many of the employees are actually ex campers that wanted to come back and help out around camp. This really shows how great this place is to me. When they come out with their programs for adults, I would highly encourage you to check them out, as I have seen what they are planning to do, and it looks like a ton of fun. The owners of the camp, Roger, and Karen are some of the nicest people I have met. I would recommend any of the best smile camps for those who are new to smile camp. Finally, the liquid nitrogen ice cream on Fridays, at the end of camp is super cool (lol) and makes really nice tasting ice cream.
