Musical-theatre day camp (operating since 1987) for children ages 3.5-15 in Santa Monica, with a new performance theme each week. Our daughter has now taken five camps here, and of all the many camps she's taken over the years, this is her absolute favorite. They are true to their philosophy in providing individualized attention and customizing the program to each child's abilities and needs. My daughter loves the teachers including Miss Lauren and Miss Brooklinn and has made new friends at each camp she's attended. It's a well-run program, and they even provide amazing photos of the finale performance after each camp session. One time, there was a change in the camp theme which made me a little uneasy at first because it wasn't what we initially signed up for, but Beth and Cari made me feel absolutely comfortable with the change and further, once the camp started, it was clear that they had taken in my feedback and were paying attention and were listening to our daughter's interests and hopes for the camp. This was her most favorite camp yet (out of ALL camps!). With many theater camp options on the Westside, Kids on Stage is truly a gem!
