Kids Garden Charleston is a drop-in childcare and learning center that runs themed camps during summer, spring break and some federal holidays. Camps take children ages 3 and up, with a Junior Explorers Club for ages 5-12, and are built around weekly themes spanning ancient civilizations, the natural world and other exploration topics. Campers enroll in either a morning or an afternoon session rather than a full day, and scheduling is flexible day to day.

Having a place to drop your children off and feel at ease is hard to find! The Kids Garden has an incredibly gentle approach, and works with familys to meet any additional needs. I can't say enough about how wonderful and kind the staff is (especially Ms Anna!). I wouldn't want to start my littles out anywhere else ❤️. Highly recommend, 10/10!

My grandkids LOVE Kids Garden! They just had the best camp days filled with tons of movement and exercise as well as brought home incredible arts and crafts. The teachers are so kind and really made the whole experience so special. I had no idea a child based business could be so well designed and offer so many amazing opportunities for the children and the guardians! Thank you Kids Garden our whole family is grateful for all you do!

I never leave a zero-star review, but when it comes to my child, I’m not afraid to let everyone know if something is wrong. And something is definitely wrong with this place. My 3.5-year-old daughter, who has been potty-trained since she was 18 months old, came home yesterday wearing different pants and no underwear underneath. I know I’m only five minutes away from their place, so I could have easily come and picked her up or at least brought her a change of pants. But they didn’t even bother to inform me about this when I picked her up. In fact, my daughter let me know about it when we got home and ran to the bathroom. This is incredibly irresponsible. They should have called me or at least let me know that she had an accident, especially since she hasn’t had one for over six months. And to top it off, they charge so much money. They need to either change their teachers or have their rules in order.

I am so grateful to have such a loving and influential children's institute so accessible to me. Kids garden really has adapted themselves to serve all students through play, expression, friendship, and support. What makes Kids Garden special is the staff. Our teachers work so hard to make each student feel special and included. Every student is so safe. A special shout out to Miss Maya, Miss Anna, and Miss Hayley. Sloanie Baloney loves to see you and spend time with you! Thank you Kids Garden!

Kids Garden Charleston has been an incredible part of our lives for the past three years. Since my son started at age two, we have watched him grow into a curious, confident, and kind young learner—all thanks to the nurturing environment, dedicated educators, and Montessori-inspired approach that Kids Garden provides. Ms. Carol, Ms. Savannah, and their wonderful team have built a space that truly honors childhood, allowing children to explore, create, and learn at their own pace while being deeply connected to nature and mindfulness. The trust we have in them is immeasurable. They lead with patience, warmth, and a genuine passion for early education, making every child feel valued and supported. From hands-on activities to outdoor exploration, every day at Kids Garden is filled with opportunities for growth, imagination, and discovery. It’s more than just a school; it’s a community that fosters a love for learning and a deep respect for the world around us. We couldn’t be more grateful for the impact Kids Garden Charleston has had on my son’s early years, and I highly recommend it to any family looking for a mindful, nature-inspired, and loving learning environment.
