Our boys just finished a season with Kids Fan Base's PreComp program, and it's exactly what we were looking for. It's a great bridge from Rec soccer (too easy, chaotic game play and often unmotivated kids) because the training is challenging enough to develop individual skills and game awareness, but the commitment is realistic for a family schedule (1 90-min practice/week, Sat games 2x/monthly). We also appreciated that the games are often at the same field and similar times, making it much more manageable for families (versus the craziness of weekly games all over the Bay). The coaches are great and there's a really welcoming, supportive community among the families. Lastly, after just one season in Pre-Comp, both of our kids (U8 and U9) were selected for Newark's Comp program. It's a solid middle ground if you want to actually develop your kids game but you (or they) aren't quite yet ready for Comp! We highly recommend!

My 8 year old son tried Pre-Competitive for the first time with Kids Fanbase Soccer in the Fall season of 2025 and absolutely loved the experience. The owner Anurag and his entire team of coaches are extremely professional and friendly which makes it both fun and easy for kids and parents. We have signed up our son again for the first session of 2026 and would highly recommend Kids Fanbase Soccer to anyone looking for a great soccer experience for their kids - recreational, pre-competitive or competitive - they have it all!

e’ve had a great experience with this soccer class. The coaches are excellent—they’re very patient and really know how to keep the kids focused and having fun. Our child’s skills have improved a lot, but the games were definitely the highlight of the whole program. It’s a nice balance of learning the game and just enjoying it. Our child always leaves with a smile, so we’d definitely recommend it.

I have two boys, 5 and 8, and when we first started almost 2 years ago at KidsFanbase, my older one was just getting exposed to soccer. My little one just ran around the field doing his own thing with soccer ball. My elder kid started with recreational, and after 2 seasons(spanning over 6 months) he moved to Pre-Comp level where he got exposed to games. Oh my god, I can't tell you how good they are! I can't believe I am writing this because I wasn't sure whether he was ready to compete, or I felt like I don't think he needs it etc. etc. - you know how mom brain works! To my surprise, he started developing so many new qualities with games - the true meaning of being a team, competitive spirit, emotional control, how to handle pressure especially when the opponent team is stronger, etc. after 2 pre comp seasons, He moved to Competitive level. My younger one is following the same path. They bonded on a different level with soccer. They play in the house all the time (I have to tell them to stop before they break something!). They both made a small soccer field where Mickey is the goalkeeper (as he is wearing goalie gloves, that's what I have been told, hehe) and there are 2 defenders on the sides. This shows they are loving this game. I'm so happy we found this place. The coaches really care about the kids and it shows. I have to give special thanks to Coach Alec and Coach Lorenzo who have been incredible mentors to my boys. If your kid wants to try soccer, definitely check out KidsFanbase. They're amazing with beginners as well as experienced players and will help your child fall in love with the game just like mine did.

We have had a fantastic experience with Kids Fanbase in the recreational soccer league for our two sons. The schedules and locations are very convenient, which is a big plus for busy parents like us. Additionally, they offer accommodations for families who need them, which is much appreciated. One of the things that sets Kids Fanbase apart from other recreational leagues is their option to add games to the schedule. This adds an extra level of excitement for the kids, as they get to play in a more competitive environment while still enjoying the benefits of a recreational league. It also creates more interest in soccer and may even inspire some kids to move on to the next stage if they are interested. Another great aspect of Kids Fanbase is that all the games are held at the same location, which makes it very convenient for families. They also offer a pre-competitive league for those who want to take their skills to the next level. We have been particularly impressed with Coach Anurag, who is not only a great coach but also serves as the coordinator for the league. He has been very responsive to our questions and concerns, and has done a great job of creating a positive and supportive environment for the kids. We have also been impressed with Coach Amudha in Sunnyvale, her energy and excitement in little kids learning and games, as well as her outstanding soccer coach abilities. Overall, we highly recommend Kids Fanbase to any family looking for a fun and supportive soccer experience for their children.
