Powered by GoogleThe Little Leadership class from the Kids Power Academy is awesome!!! My child has been joining this class about a year now. This class does not only help my child to learn about public speaking skills but also help him come out of his shyness shell and become more confident!!! The class also fosters love of learning. My child is always excited to come to the class on Saturdays and he said he wants to come to the coach's class everyday:) In addition, the private sessions are very helpful for my child to practice social-emotional skills targeting on the the areas that my child needs growth and how to interactive with new people efficiently! If you are a parent who wants to help your child to conquer shyness, gain public speaking skills in a fun/interactive way and improve social-emotional skills, then the classes/private sessions from the Kids Power Academy are excellent learning resource!
The Coach is great!!! My two kids ( 12 years old girl and 11 years old boy) went to this center to have social skill lessons and interview coaching. Last year we went to a private middle school interview and my kids answered the questions "I don't know". We had a lot of activities, like art class, baseball and other sports. At interview, kids only said I didn't know. This year we had interview again. I am surprised that my kids did very good. They not only answered questions, they also introduced themselves very well. Both of them looked like different kids from last year's interview. I will continue to let my kids take lessons at Kid Power Academy Coaching Center. Thank you very much, Coach!!!!
My son is a talkative and social 4 year old. He attended the on-line classes with Kid Power Academy (KPA) through the summer. These classes and his coach not only added structure to his conversation and presentation skills, but also added a new level of confidence to his public presence. He now can get in front of people and start a structured public address by saying: "Ladies and Gentlemen!... My name is.... I am here to tell you about.... " He captivates everyone's attention. We will definitely keep on sending our little ones to KPA... Thanks Coach DuVon...
My two daughters attended courses and a summer camp at Kid Power Academy and not only did they love it but it was very effective in giving them confidence in general and especially in speaking in front of strangers or an audience. My older daughter doesn’t have many friends at school, she had a lot outside of school so when she wanted to run for Student Body President elect of her elementary school I was quite nervous as you may imagine!! Anyhow Ester helped her through it and spent so much time giving her tips and practicing with her. We did not think she would win among the over 20 other kids running but she did! She won!! She even mentioned Kid Power Academy in her speech;)! Can say for certain that without having had this program and Ester, she would not have become President.
We started the leadership class about two weeks ago. At first my daughter was super resistant, but she ended up loving it and asked to have more classes! She especially loves the homework that was assigned, and I enjoyed having two extra hours break from her as she completes her homework (about one hour) and while she takes the class (also one hour).
