KenMont and KenWood are brother and sister residential summer camps in Kent, on the shore of North Spectacle Lake in the Berkshire foothills. Established in 1924, the separate boys' and girls' camps serve children ages 7 to 15 in multi-week sessions with expert instruction in more than 45 activities across athletics, waterfront, arts and adventure, including tennis, gymnastics, waterskiing and ceramics.

I am a teacher, and although a summer break sounds great, a summer at this camp is even better, as the fun is unending and the experience is priceless. Furthermore, the camp is run by talented and excellent directors. They make sure the camp is in great shape, and most importantly, they put the kids first and make sure the kids are always happy. This is why the campers keep coming back year after year. This is also one of many reasons why I am returning this summer for the seventh time!
