We moved from Texas, a huuuuge cheerleading hotspot and my daughters first few years of cheer experience, to Kansas City area last year. I had my daughter try out at a few gyms in the area and while accepted at all, we ultimately went with KC Cheer. I was nervous for her move to a big gym like this, but it was the best decision we could have ever made. Over the season, my daughter grew athletically as well as socially and her confidence is soaring! The owners and coaches truly care about their athletes progress and have so much knowledge of the sport. I could not recommend this gym enough.

Kristy and her coaches have completely ruined my niece’s passion for cheer due to their incompetence and inability to communicate properly. Not only did they put her down about her skills and embarrass her but they tried to justify why other kids were picked above her (just because the parents pay a lot of money to the gym, not based on abilities) even though she has ALL the skills needed, arguably one of the top cheerleaders in her age group at this gym. She put in so much work, effort, and dedication in to this sport just for it to be ruined by adults who chose favoritism over talent. She’s also not the only cheerleader having the same issues. There are plenty of other BETTER gyms in the KC metro area that actually supports and values these kids.

KC Cheer is by far the best gym in the Midwest! The coaches are some of the most knowledgeable and talented individuals as well. The ownership is top notch and genuinely care about every athlete involved! I could not recommend KC Cheer more to anyone!!

I have also worked in several gyms across the country and I can honestly say KC Cheer is the best environment I have ever been in. The owners are the nicest people, and they truly care about their athletes. When looking for a cheer gym for your child, KC Cheer is the longest running and most successful, and it’s clear why.
