It looks like the gym is under new management, and honestly, the communication just hasn’t been the same. I reached out three different times and it took 9 DAYS to get a response. That’s a pretty long wait when you’re just trying to get basic information. I also noticed something that felt a little odd while reading through the reviews. There seem to be several positive reviews posted on the same day or right after a negative one was posted. I doubt it’s a coincidence, I would definitely check those out!! They talk about racism at this gym and the place caring more about money than customer satisfaction which seems like common denominator through a lot of reviews. ( Money hungry I guess) I'm curious to see how many positive reviews will be posted right after this review. lol Overall, I’d suggest really looking at your options before signing up anywhere. For the price they’re charging here, I’d expect better communication and customer service. ( Response to "We do not solicit or fabricate reviews." No where did I say that they solicit or fabricate reviews. I just said keep an eye out. What an interesting response...I'm doubtful now that is not what is happening)

This was, by far, the worst experience I have ever had with any facility or business. I have never been treated so poorly by staff members in leadership positions. I do not make statements like this lightly, but the in person interaction carried undertones that to me felt racially charged and familiar in a way that is difficult to ignore. While others may perceive the situation differently, this was my lived experience and not something I would ever raise casually. I am sharing this to warn other families, particularly those who may find themselves advocating for their child or asking reasonable questions. When concerns are raised here, the response from leadership was exclusionary and dismissive. The issues began around an event scheduled for a Saturday morning. Parents were notified only the day before, via email, that there would be a $5 admission fee per adult, with no prior communication about this cost. As a family facing financial hardship due to unforeseen circumstances, this last-minute fee put us in a difficult position. I called the gym to explain our situation, as both my husband and I planned to attend to support our child. I spoke with Coach Kim, who I later learned is the gym director. After explaining our circumstances, she said she would cover my husband’s and my admission, which I appreciated. I then asked to confirm whether children were free, as I was bringing another child. Coach Kim initially confirmed they were. However, there was no communication explaining what age qualified as a child. She then stated that only children 13 and under were free and told me that it sounded like I was “changing my story” when I explained that my daughter was 15. She also made a comment implying that covering three people was an inconvenience and stated that I could either say “thank you, Coach Kim,” or be refunded for the event entirely. Given the context of the conversation, this felt uncomfortable and dismissive. I paused to ask for empathy and kindness, especially during the holiday season and after explaining that we were struggling financially. I was then rushed off the phone and felt dismissed. Later, I went to the gym in person to speak with Coach Kim. Another coach, whom I believe was Coach Leah, joined the conversation to mediate. However, she repeatedly interrupted, accused me of making “digs,” and suggested I was attacking Coach Kim, which was not the case. I was calmly trying to express how hurtful the experience had been and find common ground. While Coach Kim did apologize, Coach Leah continued to be condescending and confrontational. She stated she did not believe further conversation was useful. When I said I wanted to remove my daughter from the event, the response I received from her was “perfect,” which felt cold and uncaring. I ultimately made the decision to withdraw my daughter from the gym entirely.I also asked whether there was a way to escalate my concerns to the gym owner, Stephanie, as I wanted the opportunity to speak with her directly and provide additional context. I was told the owner would not be reaching out, despite responses on Google reviews appearing to come from the owner, which was confusing and disappointing. After stepping away, my family attempted to resolve this privately and calmly, with the sole goal of moving forward for our child. That request was declined. It is also worth noting that shortly after I initially shared my experience publicly, there was a noticeable increase in positive reviews, many specifically praising the same staff members I had named. While others are entitled to their opinions, the timing was concerning and gave me the impression that criticism was being overshadowed rather than addressed. Parents deserve to know not only how a facility operates on good days, but how it responds when concerns are raised. Based on my experience, I do not feel this is a safe or supportive environment for my child, and I cannot recommend it to families who value respectful communication, advocacy, and emotional safety.

We’ve had such an amazing experience at KGSP/Poss Cheer. The coaches and staff are incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and encouraging. They know how to push each athlete to reach their full potential while still keeping things fun and positive. The attention to proper technique and safety is top-notch, and the energy in the gym is always upbeat and motivating. It’s clear the staff truly care about every athlete’s success both on and off the mat. My daughter has been 3 for 3 all-american cheerleader due to what she has learned at this gym.
