I have danced with JOD for years and have always loved it! My last dance was with my daughter in my belly, Miss Abby, and the last picture I have of Miss Linda was at recital that year with Miss Linda holding baby Abby. To have grown with JOD and welcomed my own little dancer into the world is such an amazing experience. Now 7 almost 8 years later we are both back to dance! Thank you for all you created Miss Linda and Miss Lindsey and the rest of the JOD family.

I brought my 3 and a half year old daughter in for a trial session and she had a blast! Miss Marissa was great with her! It looked like all the kids were having a lot of fun. Lindsey is easy to get ahold of for any questions. We will definitely be back.

We are so happy to have joined the Joy of Dance community. Upon reaching out to ask questions about classes and pricing they were very responsive and always seemed to be two steps ahead of my questions- they are pros at making the process of joining them fun and seamless! Upon arriving for my 3 year olds first class the woman came around the counter and crouched down to say hello to her, gave her a joy or dance bracelet and sticker book, and showed her where to put her shoes and where the train table was. Then once my little was comfortable she went over a beautiful prepared and thoughtful folder with me. The overall atmosphere is chill and fun. The waiting space is perfect for parents and siblings to hang out while kids are in the dance rooms. And there is even wifi, and lots of seating. There are live feeds of the dance rooms so I could see her, but she isn’t distracted by me being there. It was perfect! They’ve thought of it all. I know I’m going on and on here, but I was just so impressed with every single staff member, the establishment and setup itself, and more. We are so excited to be a part of Joy of Dance classes!

This is a long overdue review in the hopes of educating parents and hopefully getting joy of dance to change the way the situation I’m about to describe was handled. My 4year old daughter joined late summer of 2024 and attended summer recital. The kids were kept out back until the end of the show. Then all kids came on stage after the show with their matching show tshirts on top of their dance outfits. Then parents were allowed out back to change their kids and pick them up. Fast forward to winter recital. When the kids are back on the stage for the final salute. My daughter is wearing her regular clothes with her recital T-shirt on top of that. So someone changed her. When I went outback for pick up I asked who changed my 4 year old and I was not given a clear answer. I just got, those are rentals which was the first I’m hearing about. Mind you this was in a big shared community room with male and female dancers of all ages and moms and dads and siblings. I was really uncomfortable with this and I expressed my concern in an email. The most alarming part of this is I received NO Response to my email. No explanation, no apologies for crossing a boundary. The only Response was their cancellation of our membership which in itself deserves another negative review. I don’t take writing reviews lightly. But I’ve thought long and hard about this one.

We've just started our Joy of Dance journey and they are wonderful! My son is young but loves having fun with dancing. The teachers were so kind and supportive, being able to watch what's happening via the cameras was awesome and the waiting area was perfect for hanging out and letting his little sister play. My son's first response when he came out?.. "I LOVE IT!!!" We're right on board, and can't wait to be back for more great dance classes. The ladies at the front desk were so nice and helpful as well! Loving on Joy of Dance. Highly recommend!
