The Joseph H. Firth Youth Center is a nonprofit youth center in Phillipsburg, NJ that runs a 10-week summer day camp for children ages 6–12, Monday–Friday 8 a.m.–4:30 p.m. At $160/week (including lunch, snack, and field-trip transportation), activities include gym games, swim lessons, field trips, and arts and crafts. NJ Child Care Subsidy is accepted, so many families qualify for free tuition.

★★★★★Shelley FusheonyThe Firth Youth Center is such a fantastic addition to my kids lives. My 3rd grader was able to join a 5 week Jazz/hip-hop dance session at FYC. It was a wonderful experience for my child. I showed up to the recital with flowers and a proud mama smile! I hope all of the donors, staff, volunteers, etc realize what a fantastic thing they are doing for the local kids, their families, and future. It is awesome being apart of something this positive and fun not to mention all for FREE!!! Every Friday my daughter knew it was a practice session and she always wanted to be sure we were packed and had a plan for drop off/pick up. Lucky for me my kids are just at the age to get started at FYC. I am grateful I know this organization exists within my community. They are doing wonderful things here for our future generations 💖✨💖✨💖✨💖✨💖✨💖

★★★★Kareem BlakeSo even though friends of mine and sometimes I even join in and joke around about how much the Youth Center still resembles the good old Firth Youth Center we used to gather at and play in back in 1999 lol. It still is a place where kids can go and hang out, play ball and stay off the streets. Even though it may not be as nice as say the Bethlehem Township Community or even the Chrin Center, they have made some renovations and have great programs for the kids after school and in the summer which is great. And every time I'm in the area I notice that it's still a place where kids gather to play ball and hang out as we did when we were kids and teenagers.
