Great exercise class for young & old - close to wonderful eating places when you leave 👏 👌

Great meeting room rental experience! Staff was VERY understanding & accommodating. We used it for an hour on Tuesday nights, for several weeks Also used my YMCA membership...I love their wide range of class selection & times! Classes are well attended. The entire YMCA is vibrant & energetic. And I brought a 91 year old lady to Silver Sneakers classes. Everybody - both the instructor & the other attendees - made her very welcome & comfortable in the class! I also love that this YMCA is downtown. Great views driving across the river in the early morning...the downtown is still sleepy but waking up... And after class there's good coffee nearby & all the other shops services I need.

My fist time here just visiting from out of state and i liked it here 🤭😅 its clean and the staff are helpful especially that i was coming with a membership from another state. Overall. Its a great gym 💪🏼 i will be working out here for the next week! Update: well sucks that they didn't let me work out the next morning at 6:30am because i don't have the national membership or whatever and they wanted to charge me a fee for a guest pass. Which i wouldn't mind if the front desk person did her job the previous day and verify my status so i wouldn't have wasted my time waking up early. It's a great gym but the front desk person wasted my time and as a gym person its horrible.

The pros: - they have something for everyone (can also be a con) - no contract to join - decently priced, especially if you're in the military - multiple shower and locker facilities - good hours of operation - childcare is available The cons: - equipment is outdated and not well maintained - workout areas are small, especially during busy hours - parking can be a pain during busy hours - understaffed during the holidays - workout areas and equipment are not cleaned on a regular basis - no deadlift platforms or enough powerlifting/"rubber" plates. Hope you like hearing 315 lbs being dropped on a concrete floor with minimum padding!

Great location, great staff, parking gets a bit crowded later afternoon/early evening but ample parking street-side. Great pool, racketball court, plenty of equipment, and daycare for the kids. Reasonably priced. Good locker facilities also. Highly recommend to anyone living downtown.
