A nonprofit community arts center in Alton offering five-day summer art camps for kids, with projects in drawing, painting, pottery and crafts organized around weekly themes such as Around the World and Whimsical Garden. I was, however, supposed to teach a class for Jacoby, but they were very disorganized and did not promote my class (they lost my materials and did not contact me until last of minute). Without promotion, classes will not run; without organization, businesses cannot operate. All in all, I truly hope Jacoby pulls their resources together and flourishes—I wish them the very best and look forward to their improved development!
