Such a fun space - everyone we interacted with at their even was so kind an welcoming. Touring the artists' space on the 2nd level was so interesting and we'll definitely be back

We attended the Fire Arts Fest this year, and it was our first time visiting this incredible location. The space is absolutely huge, with so many different rooms dedicated to art classes and creative activities. It was impressive to see so much variety in one building! On top of that, the free parking was very convenient and made the whole experience stress-free. We really enjoyed exploring such a large, welcoming community space for the arts!

I was one of the lucky nominees to have their art showcased for the 2025 High School art showcase. I thank everyone who transported my sculpture, Silver, as gently as they could, and placed him in a well adjusted position for casual viewers to enjoy my creation. Many people complimented on my work, both young and old. I saw families pointing to their kids, recognizing the familiar character I tried my best to create in real life. I also got to see amazing art works like “Whiskers and Wisdom” which was an amazing painting of an older woman with her cat. A sculpture of a deer who was created by one of my classmates, and a large oil painting which had an amazing color theory and accurate anatomy! Eventually after a few weeks, my art teacher informs me that I won the People’s Choice awards from a message sent by Jessica Mannisi, who is/was the director of Exhibitions. It was an amazing message to hear after doubling a flu and covid at the same time haha! The only complaint I have about everything is the fact that the People’s Choice award was not listed on the Website. I didn’t have a problem with it originally, until I realize the trouble it could cause for me when trying to mention the award in any college applications (although I have the certificate, it looks easily printable and an unreliable source of verification), hence the very late review. I’ve looked through the website to see if this was a normal occurrence, but from a previous HS showcase from 2023 it had the People’s Choice award listed. Either way, I hope to visit the center once more to see other art pieces!

Beautiful place to take Prom pictures. We picked this place in case there were storms. Then we were close to Main Street to get some other classic St Charles pictures. They had a craft fair going on and they had some really nice pieces displayed. We loved the egg shell art in the gallery. It was egg-tastic!

The gallery halls were a bit strange, it didn't have any spirit, there was way too much empty space that could feature so much more art from the artists upstairs it felt lifeless. I did like the part where you could visit the artists and see their studios, however nearly all the doors were closed. There are so many talented artists here they should really feature and sell more art in the gift shop. Unfortunately the gift shop really just had generic printed merchandise. There is so much potential for this place to be beautiful.
