The Jacksonville Giants are an American Basketball Association professional team founded in 2010 that runs an annual youth summer basketball camp as community outreach. Camp days cover basketball fundamentals plus 3-on-3 tournaments, daily free-throw contests, hot-shot competitions and buzzer-beater shots in an air-conditioned gym, and campers receive awards, certificates and a camp t-shirt. Camps have been held at city sites such as the Cuba Hunter Recreational Center, where Giants players teach basics, defensive slides, dribbling and shooting.
