Powered by GoogleThe recreation center has very good amenities, but what I don't like is that some people don't shower before entering the pool, and also that they wear shoes in the sauna. I don't find that hygienic.
I really love coming here. It seems kinda small kind of big but all machines are brand new and great to use, they are always on top of fixing any broken machines. They have a great selection of dumbbells and kettlebells. Great treadmills and free weights. The kid watch is huge inside with an outdoor area for when its warm outside. The workers are always nice with smooth check in and out. Other play area for kids (not apart of kid watch) is amazing and super big
Jackson R. Lehman Family YMCA is a welcoming and well-equipped community center offering a wide range of fitness, recreational, and educational programs for all ages. The facility is clean, spacious, and thoughtfully maintained, providing areas for swimming, sports, and group classes. Staff are friendly, supportive, and attentive, fostering a positive and inclusive environment. Perfect for families, individuals, and seniors, it encourages healthy living, personal growth, and community engagement while offering a safe and enjoyable space for social interaction and physical activity.
Spent an afternoon at this recreation center recently and it was a pretty solid experience overall. The place was clean and well laid out, and it didn’t feel overcrowded even though there were a good number of people there. I used the gym area and checked out the indoor courts, and everything seemed to be in decent shape. Staff were friendly enough, not overly talkative but helpful when I had a question about schedules. The locker rooms were okay, nothing fancy but they got the job done. I also noticed a lot of families using the space, which made it feel welcoming and safe. Not perfect, but definitely a good spot to stay active and unwind for a bit.
It's a really nice facility. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pool is wonderful. There is a good variety of gym equipment to use. There a group activities, or you can do your own thing.
