Powered by GoogleI would strongly encourage other parents to think carefully before entrusting their children to this facility. I attended a Caterpillar class for the first time today with my two-year-old daughter. The class itself was enjoyable, and Miss Amy was absolutely wonderful. However, as class ended and we were preparing to leave, my daughter became fascinated by the colorful strings across the hall and stepped onto the mat. I was standing right beside her and ready to guide her back when a staff member, Kristen Gardini, suddenly stared down at my daughter and shouted, “This is not your class, you have to leave!” My two year old daughter immediately burst into tears. I was taken aback and frankly terrified by the explosiveness of this staff’s reaction. I picked my daughter up and stepped away, but I cannot overstate how inappropriate and unprofessional Kristen’s behavior was. If she had any concern, she could have—and should have—addressed me directly, rather than shouting at a two-year-old child who was not even in her class. Words carry great weight with young children. If this is how a staff member behaves toward a child in front of a parent, it raises serious concerns about how children might be treated when unattended. To make matters worse, when I brought this incident to the attention of the “Client Experience” director at the front desk, I was met with no empathy, no apology, and no accountability whatsoever. Integrity Athletics does not provide a supportive or nurturing environment for children.
Disappointed with the Lack of Consistency and Communication My daughter has been attending this program for five weeks. She had just turned three when she started and had also recently begun wearing glasses, so this has been a big adjustment period for her. The original instructor was wonderful—patient, engaging, and clearly experienced in working with very young children. She did a great job keeping my daughter focused, even when she was feeling silly or distracted. However, last week there was a substitute instructor, and shortly after, I received an email regarding my daughter’s behavior. This was surprising and disappointing. Like many toddlers, she takes a little time to warm up, but once she does, she participates well. I’ve seen other children her age behave similarly, and it’s developmentally normal. I also make a point to work with my daughter at home on what she learns in class. We’re committed to helping her grow and succeed, but consistency and understanding from the program are just as important. I hope the staff can be more mindful of how sudden changes in routine can affect young children, and communicate with parents in a way that reflects that understanding.
My daughter went to a birthday party here and it was fantastic! This place is absolutely huge! There was a gym meet going on many practices while there where birthday parties. They had plenty of space, even though it was filled with people there was an abundant amount of viewing space/seating along with places for the kids to play. Can’t wait to check into lessons classes and other camps here!
My son is 6 and loves this place. He was nervous to start a year ago after attending a birthday party, but it's the best thing for him! He started taking a tumbling class. Then, he added Gymnastics 1. Now, he "graduated" to ninja classes from tumbling, so he takes 2 classes per week. He has also done every camp they've offered, and has two this summer. His birthday party is scheduled here too haha! Integrity is truly his favorite place on earth. He loves to run and get energy out. I've found the coaches to be really kind, encouraging and funny people. The staff have good customer service and are organized. If you're looking for a gym, this is a great place. He's excited to try the team next fall. He didn't start classes to get really good at gymnastics or anything, it was focused on fun. However, I've been really impressed with his skills and the massive improvement to his gross motor coordination. He was slowish to develop gross motor as a toddler, and this is the first time I've really seen him get to the point he matches/exceeds his peers in that area of development. Thanks, Integrity!!
This place is big awesome and the real deal if you’re into any kind of sports in or around Columbus/ Dublin Ohio. The Gymnastics program has real equipment by real instructors in a real facility and buy real I mean nice and fully stocked. This place has gymnastics rhythmic gymnastics karate volleyball and it’s all top notch. We’ve been to a few other Gymnastics clubs in Dublin and in Columbus and by far this one surpasses the mall
