iCode has been a fantastic experience for my kid! The instructors are really knowledgeable and patient—they explain tricky concepts in a way that actually makes sense and keep the students excited and engaged the whole time. What I love most is the hands-on approach. Instead of just listening to lectures, the kids get to build, experiment, and solve real problems through projects. The curriculum feels current and well-organized, and it works great for beginners as well as more experienced students. Above all, it’s helped build my child’s confidence and sparked a real love for robotics and learning. I’d highly recommend iCode to any parent looking for a quality robotics program.

My nephew had never touched a computer before iCode. No tablet, no laptop, nothing. I honestly wasn't sure what we were getting into and I'm not a fan of screen time. But this was different, I was so impressed how well the staff brought together hands on technical lessons with dynamic fun perfectly suited for their age. My nephews will never see lego the same! The classes were active, engaging and beyond my expectations. By the end he was controlling a robot he built and programmed himself. When it finished its first action he just stared at it. Didn't say anything. That was enough for me. He's not a sit-and-listen kid, so the hands-on format was the right fit. He was building from day one, not watching someone else do it on a screen. Zero background, zero experience it didn't matter. Highly recommend for Southeast San Jose families, especially if your kid has never done anything like this before.

I’m so glad that I signed up coding in person for my son. There isn’t any program like this in the Bay Area except online. Quynh that sits in the front was so helpful and patient with me as I have millions of questions for her prior signing up. Great program for kids to expand their knowledge and grow into the Silicon Valley. Totally recommend this place if you’re looking to send your kids here. Once a month icode offers parents night out. Drop your children off for a few hours and us parents can go have dinner/movie night out.

I brought my daughter here for a free trial class this Saturday, and she thoroughly enjoyed her time there. This STEM center is new to the area and they also have another center in Palo Alto next to IKEA and another center in Cupertino about to open. Each Center has five classrooms, and each classroom has floor to ceiling glass, which lends to a bright and cheery atmosphere. The equipment is high-end, with large computer monitors. They even have a gaming/VR hub with gaming PC’s with fancy light and gaming chairs, and they offer free game nights for parents who are part of their monthly belt program, which is eight hours of classes a month. The most important thing for me was my daughter loved how interactive the lesson was, and the lab work which is half the class, was well designed. As kids group up in teams, the amount of teamwork and camaraderie kids experience is a joy to observe. At the end of the trial, we signed up for the a belt at my daughter’s behest. Quynh, the director really cared about what is best for my daughter as she and the instructor asked many questions to help ascertain my daughter’s areas of interest to ensure proper belt placement. This may very well be the best coding school in the Bay Area. I found them by visiting their table at the PLEX which is just 3 minutes away. They have an outreach table there on the weekends right at the main entrance which their lead program consultant Terence who was really knowledgeable on their material introduced me to their program and helped me sign up for the free trial. I really liked speaking with him as rather than feeling like he was selling the program, he asked questions to determine what experience my daughter had with STEM and what her interests were, which gave the impression that they really cared about creating the best STEM experience for my daughter.
