My son did HSB a couple years ago and I have to say they their camps were amazing for him and really helped build his confidence. I've had several family members participate and all have enjoyed their experiences. Carson runs HSB and is a top-notch guy with a lot of basketball knowledge and has an incredible coaching staff! He always treated me and my family very well. As a sports physical therapist, that's a big reason why I became a medical partner with HSB Camps, because they're doing things the right way and take pride in the quality of basketball players they're building. It's been a lot of fun getting to know the staff better and being part of an incredible program. HSB camp provided a great experience for my little guy. He loves basketball, but is new to the sport and needed a lot of help. Because we were driving from the other side of the Valley to camp each day, I stayed and observed the coaches and kids. It was well organized and fun for all involved. I saw a lot of smiles and kids learning new skills and developing teamwork. All the coaches were supportive and challenging at the same time. I’m amazed at how quickly they learned each child’s name. My favorite part was listening to my son relay Coach Carson’s basketball stories on the way home from camp each day. He was definitely inspired by him! I highly recommend this camp.

This is one of the very best camps in the country. The facilities are fantastic, the coaches are very knowledgeable and have top notch/professional level basketball skills to pass on to the kids. They share ideas and personal experiences to help give the kids a strong foundation for belief and confidence in themselves. They teach team work, and the benefits of hard word and sacrifice. Many of these sessions are life changing and have a long term impact on the kids. Carson puts his heart and soul into helping the kids on many levels. I can't say enough great things about HSB. Carson and Mike have been easy to work with. The training academy and camps they offer are amazing. My son has attended multiple camps and the experience has always been great for him and us. The coaches go out of their way to make sure my son is being challenged and getting the most out of his training. The entire HSB staff is incredibly talented, each coach has a special skill set to pass on to the kids. I would highly recommend HSB to anyone who has an interest in basketball.

Both my son and daughter have participated in HSB programs. They are the best basketball programs I have seen in the valley! But let me make it very clear, I'm not into wrist bands and every child recieving a trophy. I honestly feel like my kids are being taught basketball skills like we were taught basketball back in "the good old days". Carson and his team care about these kids. I've watched Carson coach my daughter's 3rd-4th grade team and my son's 6th-8th grade team, as well Kindergarten-2nd grade teams. They all work hard, learn a ton, and have a great time. I've watched him teach purposeful hour long skills sessions to kids at all different levels. And I've watched him run camps. On 2 occasions our family couldn't attend something we signed up for, one of those occasions being camp this summer at Capital. My son's football practice interfered. We hadn't purchased insurance but we explained the situation to Carson and he didn't make us pay for camp. The other situation was similar and Carson handled it the same way. During the game season my 8th game son, that had never had the opportunity to play basketball due to our unfortunate moving, really wanted to play so bad. We knew he'd never have an opportunity in school or in any other league BUT Carson not only allowed us to register him, he took him under his wing. Carson gave our son confidence in himself. Sure, he taught him a lot about basketball, but more than that, Carson gave our boy a new belief in himself. For that, we will always be thankful! I have taught and coached for 18 years in this valley and this HSB program is exactly what is needed! These coaches love kids and they want kids to believe in themselves; they love basketball and their instruction is purposeful; and they are always available to parents to help provide the very best outcome for families. Our family will always be part of the HSB family! There is another program I'd be more comfortable trusting my kids to. Carson, his beautiful wife, Mike, and the entire HSB crew mean the world to our family! Thank you HSB!
