The Holly Theater is a historic community theater in downtown Dahlonega whose Holly Performance Academy runs summer camps and workshops for ages 3 to 18. Younger campers, ages 3-12, attend Exploration and mini-camps built around songs, crafts and theatre games, ending in a performance for invited family and friends; teens ages 12-18 attend junior and senior musical theatre workshops that mount full productions with music, choreography, costumes and sets for public performances in June and July. Camps also cover technical theatre, improv, storytelling and directing. Eight scholarships are offered for the children's camp, some funded through a partnership with the Community Helping Place.

I watched newsies Jr. And the production was absolutely amazing. The casting was great and the stage presence was awesome. It was a 10000/100 show and I would definitely come to see them again!

An absolute gem of a local theater. We recently saw The Drowsy Chaperone at the Holly Theatre, and loved every moment. The whole production was fantastic, especially the talented cast, and in such a small venue every seat feels like the best seat in the house. We’re already making plans to see Fiddler on the Roof this fall! It’s well worth the drive from Atlanta.

My wife and I loved the Christmas Carol production at this little theater! The actors and actresses were all extremely talented. Their presentation was just an absolutely wonderful experience. They sang beautifully, acted with great skill, and we loved every minute of it.
