The Grosse Ile Yacht Club runs a junior sailing program teaching youth ages 8 to 18 on Optimist, Club 420, and ILCA/Laser dinghies. The curriculum covers terminology, knots, water safety, rigging, points of sail, and racing a triangular course, with students progressing at their own pace from basic to intermediate levels; Club 420s are geared to sailors 12-18.

★★HappyinMII have eaten here twice. The food is not good. When you can't make meatloaf or pasta taste good there might be a problem. Most recently I had the meatloaf special. It was coated with panko and possibly fried. Completely dry and over cooked. Not much flavor. The service was great and the broccolini was delicious. Go for the drinks and view, not the food.
