Church-run summer day camp and after-school program at Grace Baptist Church in Knoxville. The summer day camp runs Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 6pm, from early June through late July, for children who have completed kindergarten through 6th grade, with weekly themes, weekly field trips, special events, daily devotions and a weekly chapel. Breakfast and snacks are served daily. During the school year the same program provides after-school care with transportation from several Knox County elementary schools and Grace Christian Academy.

Powered by GoogleGrace Place is not a good choice for students coming from other schools. They do not pick up for early release days or open for Knox County holidays as every other daycare in the area does. They also closed unexpectedly only alerting parents via email the night before. The “teachers” who are college aged kids are immature and show favoritism towards certain children. After 5 years here I can say things have gone severely downhill. My student dreaded going each day, you would be better off with La Petite across the street. (Also side note they started requiring students to do Jesus worksheets and such for after school. Personally I think after being in school all day they should not be assigned more work.) Positives: bus pick up, good location, super helpful and friendly front desk staff, good quality snacks/food. Negatives: low quality “teachers” who show lack of experience, do not accommodate Knox County calendar, more expensive, favors Grace Academy students.
