Girls Rock! DC is a nonprofit that runs a week-long summer music camp for youth ages 8 to 18 across the DC area. Campers get small-group instruction on electric guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, turntables, digital music, or vocals, form bands, and write and perform an original song at an end-of-week showcase. The program centers girls, femme, trans, non-binary, and gender-expansive youth, with instruments provided and pay-what-you-can tuition.
