Spent an absolutely fabulous weekend camping here with my girl scout for an organized weekend. We went canoeing on the lake, learned archery, painted tiles, hiked and sang songs by the campfire. The beds were comfortable. We had a room with 3 bunk beds to ourselves and shared the rest of the cabin with a girl scout troop that made us feel a part of their group. . They went out of their way to accommodate our dietary restrictions. I was stuffed full at every meal. We made some special memories.

Nothing can top camp Sherman for a Girl Scout. We went on a weekend with our troop as a reward for their cookie sales for this year. We stayed in one of the lower cabins that does not have electricity. But it does come with its own mess hall where we were able to create our own meals. There were three picnic tables inside as well as a Place for building a fire or setting down propane stoves. There was also ample shelving, refrigerator, freezer and a screened in area to eat. We shared a bathroom with changing rooms, showers, and three bathroom stalls. Everything was remarkably well kept and clean. Our Girl Scouts were able to enjoy a lower ropes courses, hiking, canoeing, campfire, flag ceremonies, arts and craft, and archery. Considering we went in September there are many more activities that are available during the summer months. Camp was not crowded and the Director chip was so welcoming. We enjoyed getting to know each of the counselors and felt that everybody that they have on staff is fun kind and well-versed in taking care of our girls. Our troop bonded so well over our camp experiences And want to go back for an entire week next time. Don’t miss out go check out Camp Sherman!

This place is absolutely amazing. The scenery is breathtaking, this place is truely a hidden gem. Camping is so much fun and the staff is super friendly. They have so many activities during family camp and it’s great to see kids connect with nature. We always purchase a souvenir shirt every year we visit. My family and I made some great memories, you should too!!

I have purchased a few dozen Girl Scout cookies at least a few weeks ago and slowly realized that the cookies I purchased were not made of real authentic Girl Scouts and would like to sue your program for this false advertisement. Thank you very much have a nice day.
