★★★Alexandra TurpinBefore this gym got bought out I actually loved it. I’ve been a member for fives year this time and four years before the pandemic. This gym has LITERALLY sold out. The members are no longer their top priority. This gym used to be worth the cost but now it’s almost $20 more expensive with LESS benefits/rewards and worse customer care. Probably canceling my membership at the end of the month.

The gym has a positive and motivating atmosphere that helps you stay consistent. Facilities like changing rooms and machines are well maintained. It’s never too crowded, so training is comfortable. Overall, a great place to improve fitness and stay healthy.
★Paul SVery disappointed leaving this club. I was a member for at least a year and a half and enjoyed the gym very much. I unexpectedly got transferred to Phoenix and asked to cancel my membership February 5th. With the policy I would still be charged for the month of March. Two folks including the person who signed me up suggested I speak to the gm. They said that under certain circumstances (like moving to another state)they can waive that last month. I was disappointed when I spoke to the manager at river point yesterday and he just flat told me no and that there is no wiggle room. Y’all must really need that $160 for March.

★★Miles HarveyIf they changed their closing time back to 11:00 PM, like it used to be, it would be more shocking than the release of the Israeli hostages. I’ve been a member for 17 years. I have to say the atmosphere has slowly decreased year after year. If you keep your head down and don’t complain, it’s a great place to get a good workout. Now, I simply roll my eyes when they turn half the lights off 20 minutes before closing and flicker the lights on and off in the pool area like the customers are 8 years old. There has been a culture shift in the gym. Times have changed the place. It used to be the nicest and most affluent gym in town. Now, it’s not the gem it used to be. They used to be open until 11 pm. Now they close when 12 year olds go to bed. They used to have lifeguard on duty indoors. They used to have towels in the locker room. The hot tub used to work. There used to be a concession stand outside in the summer. It’s a empty shack now. They used to have face towels. There used to be to be sports equipment to rent and for sale at the front desk. The equipment is now getting old.
