The Raymond G. Sanchez Community Center runs a Bernalillo County summer recreation day camp for children ages 5 to 14 who have completed kindergarten. The roughly seven-week program runs Monday-Friday, 7:00am-6:00pm, with arts and crafts, team sports, field trips, and study halls. Run by county Community Services in Albuquerque; a modest seasonal fee applies.

Powered by GoogleNice community center. Went to Round and Square dancing held by the Hot Chile Steppers. Fun dancing.
I've been waiting 3 years for them to put the indoor and outdoor pools in at this community Center. What happened to the $6.9 million they set aside for those projects? Tell me! Tell all of us. Waiting for your reply, City Councilors, and Mayor Keller. 😡🤯
The facility itself is clean and well maintained. However, the programs are poorly described, with a lack of detail that makes it difficult to know what exactly you're paying for. To be more specific: I paid for a month of ceramics sessions, under the impression that there would at least be clay available to hand-build with. There was not. The entire space was dedicated to slip molds— which is great for those who want to cast and then paint a piece! I just wish there were any kind of description about the materials and tools available.
Really nice community center with great amanities and friendly staff.
