Gemini Theater Company is a nonprofit children's theater, established in 1996, that runs acting classes and summer acting workshops at the Ryan Arts & Culture Center in McKees Rocks. Its five-day summer workshops for ages 4 to 14, plus a two-week workshop for ages 14 to 17, have each group write, rehearse and perform an original show at the end of the session. The youngest group attends half days from 9:00am to 12:00pm and older groups stay from 9:00am to 4:00pm, with aftercare, early drop-off and late pick-up sold as add-ons. Fall classes meet on Saturdays for ages 6 to 14 in musical theater, original play building and a one-act production, and the theater states it turns no one away who requests financial assistance.
