Came to the Fulton County YMCA just to play basketball, not do anything crazy. I’m 18, filled out all their paperwork, waited around, and then at the very end they asked for an ID and denied me entry when I didn’t have one on me. If you’re going to require an ID, maybe say that before making people waste their time. Instead, they acted suspicious and inflexible over someone trying to shoot hoops. It felt like I was being treated like a problem instead of a person. This is supposed to be a community gym, but apparently you can’t even play basketball unless you pass some unnecessary checkpoint. Terrible first impression. Plenty of other places let you play without making you feel like you’re doing something wrong.
Do not have a birthday party here, ,Toni at the front desk was very rude and ruined our whole party. The night before our party she called me 4 times just to be rude on the phone. She was very rude to each and every one of our guests. I wouldn't recommend this place to anybody. For the price I paid and we got treated very horrible.,,Stay away from this place.
Review for YMCA FMCC Child Care Center: My child was in the infant and toddler rooms at the child care center. I felt confident leaving my child in the morning that they were going to be well taken care of and form good relationships. You can tell that the staff love what they do. Chris, Ashleigh, Christianna, Jackie, and Apryl are all great at their job and communicate well with the children and their parents. I loved picking my child up at the end of the day and hearing about all the awesome things they did (crafts, music time, stories, playground, dress up, etc)!
Absolutely love this gym compared to the other area choices. It seems like going to the gym these days requires cameras, tripods set up to video yourself, and posting what weights you lifted today in your prettiest outfit. Influencers are crowding the places and you can’t get a decent work out with out being in the back ground of someone’s self proclaimed influencer fees. This gym is the furthest from that. People actually wear gym clothes and are working hard at getting their work out in. Lots of staff everywhere to help out if there are any problems. The saunas, and pool/hot tub are immaculate. And the equipment has all been upgraded and is new. You can sync your iWatch to record your work outs, and the treadmills have some awesome realistic recorded bike paths to watch as you pedal from all over the world. The only thing I’d wish for is a calisthenics area. That would be amazing! 👏🏻 🤞🏼 Thanks for everything!
