I use this YMCA for exercise only. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I never wait for cardio equipment and rarely wait for free weights. Some issues though: 1. There are no scales anywhere in this place unless you want to create an egym account and use some smart scale that requires you to log in with a wristband or code every time. Get physicians scales somewhere 2. There are no fans anywhere in the weight or cardio area!! - it gets very hot. 3. There are no TVs anywhere in the cardio area or on the treadmills. There are a couple in the weight area but they are small and not easily viewable. **Fans, scales, and TV's are basics for a fitness center** 4. About half the treadmills start to get all out of sync when you push them faster than 7:30min/mi pace. 5. The weight room, which is very poorly laid out, is lacking some very basic equipment like a lat pulldown machine or cable crossover machine. There is a room for single person echelon that's never used and half the free weight side is a cage of racks that is also never used. 6. Update: the men's locker room is renovated. Prior to renovation it was always crowded with dirty wet floors between peoples shoes and pool water. I was looking forward to improved locker rooms. Well, they basically cut it in half! The locker room is even more crowded thus the floor is more wet and dirty with no room. They took half the locker room and turned it into private stalls. The family locker room is MASSIVE with private stalls and is hardly used. I'm absolutely baffled they felt the need to do this in the men locker room where they are seldom used. Those that want those could just use the family locker room so space could be better used. If you don't want to swim laps, there are other nearby places for a cheaper, better fitness experience.

Very large facility. They made some upgrades recently and looks better than ever. We mainly stayed in the pool, but we enjoyed our time. Pokemon go wise, plenty of stops a gym in the back. They just arent easy to hit when inside the building.

This place sucks for basketball, pickleball is everyday at after work or school hours. They say they will accommodate for all people which is a lie, they will kick you out and use the entire court for Pickleball and the court they have for basketball for non events is horrible its dusty so you slip alot, also the court is so small and the rims are shorter and older making it harder to shoot. So if you’re coming to hoop make sure to keep this in mind.

Honestly, it's becoming ridiculous and frustrating with this pickle ball in this location. You might as well take down the YMCA SIGN and replace it with Pickle Ball Hub or something. Every time we try to go use the BASKETBALL COURT for basketball 🏀 it's being used for pickle ball. I'm sure there's standards, schedules, and rules for the gym use at this location. Obviously, management chose not to abid by it, they choose to please certain group of members over others. Every time u do this, u putting these kids out in the streets to do bad things. This should be a place for kids to gather and play sports. The funny thing is they are doing construction in the premises and not everything is available. They actually have the nerve to increase the membership prices.

Realistically if your in to body building this place trumps planet fitness 100%. Sauna/steam room shaving cream on tap. olympic size swimming pool and hot tub #wouldntgointhatthingifitwasthecuretocancer Full track court and massive weight room with every machine available you could think of (besides a lat pull machine). 50 bucks a month is def worth it. They gave me a free week to try it out. Planet fitness is far from this place and for 30 dollars more well worth. Great parking and trail access.
