The Frisco RoughRiders, the Double-A affiliate that plays at Riders Field, run the RoughRiders Baseball Academy summer camps for young players. Camps are half-day: a Rookie Camp for ages 4-6 and a Development Camp for ages 7-12, running roughly 8:30 or 9am to noon across multi-day weeks in June and July at a cost of $395. Campers are grouped in eights for instruction, get a free T-shirt, and finish the week with a Lazy River party for campers and families at the ballpark. Registration is online through the club's academy page.

★★★★★Timothy ConnellWe had a lot of fun at the RoughRiders game!! We went to see my wife’s mother sing the national anthem and they let everyone come onto the field to see the fireworks afterwards. The grounds are impeccably clean, parking is accessible and close (we paid 10$), the food was AMAZING. We didn’t even realize they had lost 4 to nothing to be honest. It seemed very family friendly as well, there was security guards everywhere and a good number of police and fire/ems people ready to help too. Only issue, can’t fault them for it, but concessions are definitely priced just like any other stadium (expensive). I would definitely check out another game some time!

★★Aubrey BradleyWe got free tickets to the banana ball tour and decided to take the kids. Parking was rough as the police department takes a large number of spots and they didn’t seem to have enough parking for the event. We even showed up early and can’t imagine how bad it would have been if we were on time. Once we got inside after the literal mile walk to the entrance, it is a nice stadium. We had general admission tickets and thought it would be fine to sit on the hill behind center field. It wasn’t. It was over packed and is on a 20% grade hill so you feel like you’re going to fall down at any given time. Then comes the food… everything was slow. Our three hotdogs took 20 minutes after waiting another 30 to order, and was mega expensive. With the increased parking prices for an event, said hotdogs, and a couple beers, we walked out spending &150 for our free event. Yes, that’s on us for eating there, but that was high for a family themed event. It’s our second time going to this park and likely our last.
